The BRIEF is a very English term and like most anglophilic terminology it gets right to the point.
A Brief is a "short and concise statement"noun (from the dictionary) this statement is like a guiding thought for what you will make.
My current project Brief is:
I will use repurposed recyclables from my captivity to make something beautiful that makes the repurposed item more interesting and meaningful or at least cool. I will make objects inspired by nature with the "trash" that I have been saving. It seems like the right combination of waste and creation.
This is a skill and type of writing that will be useful in life and in business or the arts or (with some special additional knowledge) the law.
