so this is Brian Dettmer's work. He uses old books as his medium for sculpture. His desire to elevate the book in our consciousness is trluy noble, but his work is shear genius! I want one. I want to sit down and watch him work. The tediousness and precision of his process boggles my mind. Thanks to my student Mike Thines for the heads up on this inspirational artist.
